Nature and outdoor activities remain as one of the top reasons people travel to the Branson Area. Branson boasts seventeen parks totaling more than 245 acres within the city limits ranging from small neighborhood parks to large wilderness areas with hiking trails. Below is a list of the most popular.

Henning State Forest Scenic Lookout
Stop in at the rest area that offers spectacular views of the countryside. Informative scenic lookout areas and a nature trail where you can meander or do some serious walking. W. Hwy. 76 between Branson and Shepherd of the Hills.

Stockstill Park
Very popular park for adults and children alike. Facilities include two adult softball fields, a large children's playground, two covered pavilions, a 1/3 mile walking path, six tennis courts & more.

Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area
The Lakeside Wilderness Area, just off Hwy. 76 on Fall Creek Rd., is surprisingly remote for being so close to the famed Boulevard. A single-car road leads to a trail that drops down to the shores of Lake Taneycomo. This new gem of Branson’s park system reveals the soothing forests from the old hill country.

Table Rock State Park
Located on the shore of 53,000-acre Table Rock Lake. The clear waters of the lake make the park ideal for water activities and underwater scuba adventures. The park (within a few minutes’ drive of Lake Taneycomo) is outfitted with a marina, boat rentals, campsites and day picnic areas. Seven miles southwest of Branson on Hwy. 165.

North Beach Park
Scenic park located along Lake Taneycomo. Facilities include a large covered pavilion, playground, gazebo, sand volleyball court and two tennis courts.
